HI!
I'm Michael King, a graduate student with a First Class Honours degree BA (Hons) in Graphic Design at the University of Portsmouth.
I'm a designer who's flexible in many areas within graphic design from branding and motion graphics to UX design, choosing to specialise in editorial design as I'm passionate about books and their ability to visualise stories that otherwise couldn't be expressed.
I believe that there's always something to learn and that you can never stop growing as a designer, which is why I've perused many different routes within graphic design as this helped me inform my work in my three years at University and beyond.
I currently work as a graphic designer at Iseek, a company based just outside of Brighton, that designs children's books globally for publishers such as Bounce, Insight, Hachette, and many others. At Iseek we strive to make our books as fun and as engaging as possible while also providing useful educational material that's up to date with current times.
I have also been awarded four Adobe Certified Associate awards in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, but I'm also proficient in using Premiere Pro and XD.
